I love learning about how people think and help them solve everyday problems. The user’s experience can feel complete when the underlying motivations are unearthed and addressed like regaining control over high electricity bills with Energy Account Snapshot email. And what about new possibilities like uniting all energy services to secure a home of the future with the Energy Optimizer Showroom?

I also dabble in watercolour in my free time and love to apply both the medium’s subtlety and vibrancy in my work. A selection can be found in Illustrations.

Feature proritization matrix helped up focus within our study's scope. We particularly liked an easily accessible donation button, clear description of volunteer opportunities, personalized donations (planting a tree, certificates) and convenient forms.

Understanding the problem

I have uncovered high priority issues, incl.

  • empowering non-profit leaders with existing data and competitive analysis (heat maps, Google analytics) for their websites on Catchafire.
  • unearthing underlying social and emotional motivations of boba tea customers behind their purchase with 1-on-1 interviews.

User Empathy

Problem statements, user personas and storyboards are her go-to tools for user empathy.

An example is recognizing the social and emotional needs the users have that can be fulfilled by inviting friends out for a boba. This goes beyond a shop's brand, taste or menu variety.

Attention to detail in UI design

I take great pride in my work on each element of high definition design.

I have cut ~2h from energy provider design team’s sprints by merging design variations into one solid system and UAT tested real-time implementation in collaboration with the development team.
